About the Author: Kim Turner
Personal stylist Kimberly Turner has turned her passion for fashion and her marketing and corporate skills into a company that allows her to enhance the image of others. In December of 2007, she launched Fashion Cents TV (www.FashionCents.tv), an online website that has one simple purpose -- To give the world inexpensive options to achieve greater fashion sense. "We want people to stop believing that wearing designer logos and high-priced fashions are the only ways to achieve a great style."
Before launching FashionCents.tv, Turner owned FLAUNT Women's Apparel & Image Consulting Boutique in Chicago's South Loop. This experience helped her to realize that women weren't really in need of more expensive clothing, just a better understanding of their own body types and how to develop personal style.
Turner's professional and educational experiences combine to make FashionCents.TV the perfect outlet for her talent, vision and commitment to empowering women. FashionCents.TV hosts video podcasts, blog posts and other tools to help site visitors establish style and shop strategically. FashionCents.TV also offers individual styling services such as personal shopping services and closet analysis. These services are designed and customized to help individuals achieve their goals from job promotions to gaining attention to just making their style fit their lifestyle.
Featured in the Chicago Sun-Times, Red Streak, The Chicago Defender, Salon Sense Magazine and featured on NBC5 and Good Morning America, Kimberly Turner has created a buzz around Chicago. She has also been a fashion and style contributor to Salon Sense Magazine, Noir Woman, and The Chicago Defender, WLS ABC7, WGN Channel 9 morning news, and FOX Channel 32 morning news. Corporate clients include both individuals and departments at a diverse group of organizations including MTV Networks, Pfizer, American Family Insurance, AIG, Westfield Shopping Malls, WGN Channel 9, Wright College, UCAN, Kraft Foods, Chicago Public Schools, Dress Barn and British Petroleum.
"FashionCents.TV strives to provide their site visitors, personal and corporate clients with the knowledge and the right apparel to make the right statement everyday without breaking the bank," says Turner.
Kimberly Turner has an MBA from the University of Michigan, an Image Consulting Certification from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, and is a member of the Association of Image Consultants International.
