Robert Weiss, LCSW, CSAT-S, is an author, clinical trainer, addiction psychotherapist and authority on the interaction of digital technology with sexual health, relationships and addiction. Currently serving as Senior Vice-President of Clinical Development for Elements Behavioral Health, Mr. Weiss has developed ongoing clinical addiction treatment programs for The Ranch in Nunnelly, TN, Promises Treatment Centers in Malibu, CA, The Sexual Recovery Institute in Los Angeles, CA (founded by Mr. Weiss in 1995) and the Life Healing Center of Santa Fe, NM. Mr. Weiss is a licensed, UCLA MSW graduate and early trainee of Dr. Patrick Carnes, an international leader in addiction treatment. He is the author of four books, numerous peer-reviewed articles, and book chapters.

Mr. Weiss has served as a media specialist in the area of sex addiction and the role of digital technology in our relationships for CNN, the Oprah Winfrey Network, the New York Times, LA Times and the Today show, Dateline NBC among many others. He contributes regularly to PsychCentral.com, writing primarily about sex addiction, and the Huffington Post, writing mostly about the effects of technology on communication and intimacy in relationships. Mr. Weiss has also provided clinical multi-addiction training and behavioral health program development for the National Institutes of Health, the United States military along with multiple behavioral health centers throughout the United States, Europe and Asia.
