Lon G. Adams was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and has a B.A. in Political Science from Loyola University and a Masters in Business from the University of New Orleans. He served for 28 years in the Reserves and is a Lt. Colonel, U.S Army, Retired. He is a graduate of the Army Command and General Staff College, the Air Force War College and the National Security Management Course. He is a Certified Military Instructor, served as an Adjunct Faculty Member for the Army Command and General Staff College and served in command and staff positions at Platoon, Company, Battalion and Division levels.

Lon worked 27 years for BellSouth (AT&T) and retired in 2005. His positions included working as an Engineer, Network Planner, and a Project Manager. He was a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) for eight years. Lon has a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University and a Certificate in Engineering Management from LSU.

He has been incarcerated since 2009; however his appeals for innocence are still active and in progress. At the prison, he is a certified Academic Tutor, currently tutoring the College Program. He is active in the Veterans Organization, serving as Vice Commander. Lon is now also a graduate of Victory Bible Institute, Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is Roman Catholic.

Lon is divorced and has one son, Chad B. Adams, 36.
