About the Author: G. A. Tupper
G.A. Tupper is a pseudonym for George Arthur Bush. Since 1970, he has graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a degree in Visual Communications. This was followed by a Bachelor of Science degree from LaRoche College in Pittsburgh. In 1975 George Arthur Bush began a career as a book and magazine cover artist. He has illustrated over 300 book covers. The companies include: Dell, Bantam, and Random House. In 1980, his short story was published by Marvel Comics in the first issue of Epic illustrated. Western oil paintings were represented by Arizona West Gallery, Scottsdale, Arizona, and The Grand Gallery in N.Y.C.

George Arthur Bush currently resides in the Pennsylvania Mountains with his wife and cat. They live in the very same house George grew up in.
Two pairs of brothers and sisters travel back in time to solve the mystery of a dinosaur painting that was given to them at a local flea market. Bill, April, Fred and Amy, are members of the Dinosaur Patrol. They begin to give themselves this name during their first journey to the prehistoric past. The Patrol confronts hungry dinosaurs, flying reptiles, and exploding volcanoes. Each person brings their own talents and skills to the adventure. A small animal accidentally returns with them to civilization. It is kept in Bill's attic for a week. This inspires another mission for the Dinosaur Patrol. They must return the little animal and investigate mysterious human footprints they found on the ancient volcanic ground. The story is told by the character, Bill. He and his best friend Fred, collect plastic dinosaur model kits. Their appreciation for prehistoric beasts will be put to the test by the end of the book! This ia a fun story to read. It's light hearted and educational. The story is filled with thrilling dinosaur chases and jaw dropping escapes. Stunning mysteries about their dinosaur painting are discovered. Travels take place on Sunday afternoons at Bill and April's house. The Patrol returns to school each week and deals with the events of that past weekend. Sometimes there is tension between members over future missions to the prehistoric past.
