I found myself in the process of a profound change in 1996, and I felt the need to express myself through my oil paintings, where objects were symbols representing the emotional and mental state I was experiencing. From there arose the painting on the cover of this book.
In 2001 I felt a strong and spontaneous desire to put words to some of my paintings. My first book, Messengers From a New World, reflects the continuation of that initial drive. I feel gratification for the contact with my conscience and for having the courage to express this connection that guides me toward self actualization.
Maria de los Angeles searches for true love. In that process, she discovers herself through communication with a new world, with nature and with the messengers. Her childhood environment, shaped by the precious company of her grandmother, becomes a new world that is always present and available to everyone, if we take the time to pay attention and not lose sight.

Discovering the magic of love gives wisdom and understanding to the daily life of the girl. Each time she releases one of her stifling fears, there is a wonderful connection that makes her more conscious and sure of whom she really is.
