About the Author: Larry Mathis
Larry Mathis is the founder and CEO of Mathis Wealth Management, a personal financial planning practice in Phoenix. Although he has extensive education and experience in financial planning, his first lessons about handling money came from his loving mother, Jeannine. She imparted her wisdom to Larry and his six siblings – not with lectures – but through her old-fashioned values and incredible work ethic. The life lessons Larry learned from his mother have guided him throughout his personal and professional life. During his 25-year career in the financial services industry, he has helped scores of people develop and implement their financial plans. And thanks to his mother’s invaluable lessons, he also shares with them the importance of identifying their values and priorities to establish meaningful financial goals.
