Password: SeniorMoment: Based On the Award-Winning Newspaper Column, "Patricia Bunin's Senior Moments"

Since 2009, Bunin's "Senior Moments" column has been published in the San Gabriel Valley Tribune, Whittier Daily News, Pasadena Star-News, San Bernardino Sun, Inland Valley Daily Bulletin, Redlands Daily Facts, and, either in print, online -- or both -- in other papers of the Los Angeles Newspaper Group. It has continued to grow in popularity, drawing rave reviews from readers, including TV newscasters Patrick Healy of NBC and Kent Shocknek of CBS.

Bunin also is a writer, poet, and public relations professional. She co-created the workshop "Shifting Into Tomorrow" with therapist Madeline Mark to share her personal experience of writing her way to a better tomorrow. Excerpts from her own journal were published in the Pasadena Star-News and converted into a brochure for patients at The USC/Norris Cancer Center in Los Angeles.

Additionally, she is the creator of www.breastbuddy.net, a free support site for women with cancer. She also writes and speaks to live audiences on this topic.

Bunin has facilitated journal writing and poetry therapy classes to seniors in Southern California for many years. She edited five collections of work from these classes, which were published and used for fund-raisers at retirement homes.

She also published a poetry magazine, "The Rufus," under a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts and is the author of "Do You Think We Could Have Made It? and Other Love Poems for the Separated and Divorced."

Her essays have been published in "Chicken Soup for the Mother's Soul" and two books by Seal Press, "Tied in Knots" and "The Bigger the Better, The Tighter the Sweater."

Most recently, Bunin was invited to be a guest writer for the SCAN Health Plan Newsletter.
