Recipes For a Delectable Life

Lornita Kepes was raised in remote mining camps in Mexico and Peru. She studied at the Museum School of Fine Arts in Boston and worked for many years as a professional ceramic artist. She was also the director of an arts program for Latino youth and later did social work with Latino families living in marginalized communities.
Lornita along with her husband runs a business called The Guatemaya Art and Culture Connection, supporting Mayan artists and artisans from Guatemala.
Lornita has been writing for the last twenty years. Her work is harvested from rich and varied life experiences combined with creativity, originality, inspiration and humor.
She is the mother of four boys and has seven grandchildren.
