About the Author: Charu Jain
Dr Charu Jain is a professional strategist with a passion for teaching, training and consulting in the field of corporate and
supply chain sustainability. In her career span of 20 years, she has held management level positions at various corporates and taken on the role of implementing their sustainability strategy at the global level.
Charu has been awarded the Global Sustainability Leadership Award 2013 by the CSR World Congress for her achievements in the field of sustainability management. She also serves on the advisory board of various sustainability organizations and plays an instrumental role in developing sustainability frameworks and training for textile and chemical industry.
She has written several articles and research papers on sustainability in the textiles supply chain in reputed Indian and Asian Journals and has received appreciation for her work in this field. She has been a speaker at many international conferences on “Supply Chain Sustainability and Sustainability Management.”
She has a deep interest in the principles of sustainable development and corporate sustainability to build sustainable businesses and economies. Through this book, Charu wants to help corporates and professionals begin their journey with a simplified approach for adopting and implementing sustainability practices.
