About the Author: Ann Bernard
Ann graduated from the Royal School of Needlework in the 1950s. She has been a member of the Toronto Guild of Stitchery and the Embroiderers' Association of Canada Inc. and has worked on the Toronto Historical Embroidery. Since moving to Guelph, she has joined the Canadian Embroiders' Guild, Guelph. She has taught classes in Traditional and Contemporary Crewel Work, Contemporary Gold Work and Creative Surface Stitchery. Her work has been exhibited in Canada and the U.S.A. and has been a recipient of Canada's Leonida Leatherdale Award. Her greatest thrill is when her students try new techniques and the amazing creativity of their achievements.

Her first book, Stitching Idyllic: Spring Flowers was published in 2011.

Stitching Idyllic: Hand Stitch Recognizable Summer Flowers was published in 2014.

Stitching Idyllic: Hand Stitch Recognizable Spring Flowers, 2nd Edition will be published in the spring of 2016.
