Summer Adventures The Bear Family

The written word has always been an important part of Julia's life. She studied literature, in French and English, graduating with a degree in Literature from Mount Allison University in New Brunswick.

She can remember weekly visits to the local library, as a child, to pick out a new book and was carried away to many places and introduced to many characters through the written word. Likewise, she hopes to instill a passion for reading in young readers which will carry on throughout their lives.

Julia has published several poems, and was awarded an 'Editor's Choice' distinction from Poetry.com. She also loves the landscapes of the Atlantic provinces, where she lives with her family, and enjoys capturing the moods of this land and sea through her photography.
