Lillian Moats is a writer, artist and filmmaker. The award winning animated art films she has produced with her partner JP Somersaulter have appeared in festivals around the world. The Letter from Death is her fourth book, after The Gate of Dreams (a collection of original fairy tales), Legacy of Shadows and Speak, Hands (both literary memoirs). David J Moats is a London based writer and illustrator, and is the film editor for popular culture website The Quietus. Howard Zinn was a historian, playwright, and social activist. He has received the Thomas Merton Award, the Eugene V. Debs Award, the Upton Sinclair Award, and the Lannan Literary Award.
