Greg Stone, with his beloved wife Jodi of over twenty-eight years, lives near Branson, Missouri on the land he grew up on. He and Jodi have two grown sons, Casey and Drew. Greg is presently the associate regional director for Young Life overseeing southern Missouri. In his spare time Greg enjoys reading, writing, watching Saint Louis Cardinals baseball and Kansas City Chiefs football, and spending time with his wife and family.
Jason and his loving mother live a simple but good life in the Ozarks of southern Missouri. Jason is a shy, yet still happy teenager who loves his car, nature, and life. He becomes acquainted with Greg through Young Life, a Christian outreach ministry for youth, and they become fast and strong friends.

This story is based on Greg’s witness of a young man whose life was tragically interrupted, leaving many questions concerning the fairness and just nature of a loving God’s interaction with his children here on earth.
