In addition to his passion for writing, Travis Slone works as a behavioral science officer in the U.S. military, and enjoys his life as a compassionate husband, and father of three girls.
As a motivating force, Slone finds inspiration in both a lifetime of adventure, and his personal journey through open-heart surgery. While his stories are undoubtedly exciting to read, there remains a level of allegory to his work, which invites us all to experience life, not as individuals, but as contributing members of the larger world.
