Oleta May Lockett Nichols was born in 1922 in the ozarks of Missouri. She married at age twenty and raised a family of four, and still managed to write with a prolific hand. She passed away in 2015, and this book was among her richest legacy.Special acknowlegment and appreciation is due Sharon Warner, the author's daughter.
